[1] Slovenia remained third in FIFA World Cup qualifying Group 5 after being pegged back by visitors Belarus in the first ever international meeting between these teams at senior level.

Kulchiy leveller

[2] Aleksandar Rodic gave home team Slovenia the lead just before half-time, against a nation three points behind the home side at kick-off tonight. But only three minutes after the break, Aleksandr Kulchiy equalised for Belarus, and the spoils were shared.

Locked with Norway

[3] With second-placed Norway held 0-0 by Moldova tonight, Slovenia remained behind the Scandinavians on head-to-head record, both nations four points adrift of Italy with the leaders not in World Cup action tonight. Belarus remained fourth, three points ahead of Moldova and Scotland.

June rematch

[4] These teams meet again in Belarus on 4 June, a night when Norway play Italy and Scotland welcome Moldova.
